Caracolito – Beans and ground coffee
A Brazilian single-origin coffee blend made from the fruit of the coffee plant, the drupe.
Most cherries contain two seeds, but in some cases, they are formed of one single whole seed, and this is what makes this type of coffee rare.
The coffee beans extracted from them are called a “pearl”, or “Caracolito”, also known as peaberry in English, and their round shape allows for more even roasting, which gives the coffee blend an intense, elegant aroma.
Available in coffee beans or ground single-origin coffee for an espresso or an Italian moka pot.
